Also called the African Spear Plant, and yes, those cylindrical leaves really are braided by hand — this one's basically wearing a fancy hairstyle. It's a cousin of the classic Snake Plant, famous for being nearly impossible to kill and for producing oxygen at night, when most plants clock out. Give it bright light and forget to water it for weeks — it'll thrive on your neglect.
