All are cousins of the Monstera family, native to tropical Central and South America, and share a knack for thriving in lower light than most "easy" plants can handle. Variegation patterns are famously unpredictable leaf to leaf — no two are ever quite the same, which is either charming or slightly chaotic depending on how you look at it.
